Lorain LRT200

Introduced in the market back in 1985, the Lorain LRT200 is one of the most reliable rough terrain cranes for small to medium size operations. The LRT200 is no longer being produced after Northwest Engineering acquired the Lorain company. However, at Craneco Parts & Supply, we make acquiring replacement Lorain LRT200 parts easy through our extensive parts catalog arranged according to brand or manufacturer.

The LRT200 has a total lifting capacity of 20 tons, and a maximum boom length of 103 feet with the jib extended. Equipped with a primary and secondary winch, outriggers with hydro lines, a sunroof, and a powerful engine, the LRT200 can offer maneuverability and power you can rely on.

Lorain LRT200 Features Overview

BOOM

The LRT200 features a heavy-duty boom design, offering plenty of lifting power with a lighter crane weight. The crane’s boom features a three-section section design with mechanically synchronized telescoping, controlled using a single lever. To improve its strength and load-carrying capabilities, manufacturers used four plates that have been welded inside and out. To further increase its strength and reduce overall weight, the side plates are equipped with anti-friction slide pads.

When the jib is fully extended, the crane’s boom provides a higher hook height while offering better lifting capacity. The self-proportioning boom allows it to maintain the best length-to-strength ratio automatically. The boom elevation ranges from -4 to 76 degrees, offering better flexibility than competing crane models. The cylinders in the boom are equipped with integral hold valves. Finding replacement Lorain LRT200 crane parts for the boom is easy through Craneco Parts & Supply.

AUXILIARY BOOM EQUIPMENT

The Lorain LRT200 crane offers several optional boom attachments. It can be equipped with a single piece or swing-on lattice-type jib. You also have the option to install an auxiliary boom head that can be installed on the main boom’s peak. Another optional piece of equipment is a hook block, which can be constructed of two to four metallic sheaves. Some LRT200 cranes can also come with a 6.25-ton hook and ball attachment. Please specify the auxiliary replacement Lorain LRT200 crane parts for the boom when you place your order.

STEERING OPTIONS

The LRT200 offers three steering options for easier handling and better mobility. This crane features two-wheel, four-wheel, and crab-steering options. Better steering options make maneuvering on any job site more accessible.

You can also order auxiliary steering for this crane. The drive/steer configurations for the LRT200 are 4 x 2 x 4 (standard) and 4 x 4 x 4 (optional). Keep these options in mind when you order replacement Lorain LRT200 parts.
