The standard boom configurations for this crane follows the design of Terex’s RT1000 series cranes. Its full power boom spans 41 to 155 feet, which is deployed using an electronically synchronized single-lever control.
The crane’s extension system features single and 2-stage telescopic cylinders. Its tip section extends and retracts via a wire rope. The ovaloid design of the boom makes it more durable, allowing it to lift at a higher capacity. In addition, the plates are made of high-strength steel, which reduces the crane’s overall weight while improving its lifting capabilities.
The boom head is welded on the fifth section with a pair of idler sheaves and five nylon load sheaves. Provisions in the design include mounts for side stowing of the jib.
