Terex RT775

Even though the Terex RT775 is already out of production, it remains one of the most reliable cranes for scaled operations. It’s one of the more powerful cranes in the RT700 series, with a 75-ton capacity. The Terex RT775’s maneuverability is something you can count on when tackling jobs located in rugged terrain. Finding replacement Terex RT775 parts should be easy, and you can identify the ones you need by browsing through our catalog of replacement crane parts arranged by brand and manufacturer.

Terex RT775 Features Overview

FULL POWER BOOM

The RT775 comes with a 126-foot four-plate section boom, which features side plate holes to improve its strength and reduce the overall weight. In addition, reeving changes are made easier due to the boom’s hoist cylinder, which provides an elevation of -7 to 78 degrees.

Each RT775 crane can include a variety of optional boom equipment. For instance, jibs of different lengths can be included with each unit, extending from 32 to 57 feet. A fourth section boom head or an auxiliary boom head can also be included. Auxiliary boom heads only have single nylon sheaves and can be removed easily.

The jib design also provisions for side slow-mounting. Finally, other optional boom equipment can include a hook block and a 12-ton hook and ball. When ordering replacement Terex RT775 parts for the boom, specify the equipment that comes with it.

OPERATOR’S CAB

Some of the frequently ordered replacement Terex RT775 crane parts are for the operator cab. The environmental operator’s cab includes a Rated Capacity Indicator (RCI) system. The entire cab is designed for comfort and efficient operation. It’s outfitted with a deluxe six-way adjustable seat with head and armrests.

The entire cab is sound and weather-proofed for improved comfort. It also features a removable front window and a right-hand window that slides out for easy access. You can also find dual-axis winch controls mounted on the armrests. Other armrest controls include those for the boom elevation and swing. Foot pedals in front of the operator’s seat include the boom telescope, throttle and swing brake.

CARRIER EQUIPMENT

Some of the replacement Terex RT775 parts you can order include those for the carrier and other chassis parts. This crane is built with a 4 x 4 x 4 drive and features a box-type construction. For added strength, it also features reinforcing cross members.

This crane offers several steering options making it very maneuverable over different terrain. The operator can use four-wheel crab steering, four-wheel coordinated, hydraulic four-wheel power steering and two-wheel steering. Two-wheel steering provides you with a 41-foot turning radius, and four-wheel gives you a turning radius of 22 feet.

This crane’s front axle is rigidly mounted on the frame, featuring a planetary drive, which provides more stability during operations. When swung 10 degrees in either direction, you should expect the automatic oscillation locks to engage.

Other commonly ordered replacement Terex RT775 crane parts are for the wheels and tires. This crane is outfitted with wide earthmover tires, which have a long usable life and offer better floatation. The tires have the following dimensions: 29.50 x 25 PR.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND WINCH

The RT775 is outfitted with a hydraulic main dual-speed winch that features equal speeds when powering up and down. It also has an electronic drum rotation indicator, standard cable roller, tapered flanges and an integrated automatic brake.

This crane’s hydraulic system also features three gear-type pumps. The primary and auxiliary winch pump has 57.8 GPM at 4,500 psi. On the other hand, the telescope and boom hoist pump have 42.1 GPM, also at 4,500 psi. Finally, the swing, outrigger and power steering pump have 20.2 GPM at 3,500 psi.

ENGINE SPECS

This crane is powered by a 6-cylinder Cummins QSB 5.9-275 diesel engine. The engine has a displacement of 359 cubic inches producing 730 lb-ft torque and generating 275 horsepower.
